OUR APPROACH
The Most Sustainable Piece Is the One You Keep
Fine jewellery is the opposite of fast fashion. A Lesunja piece is designed to be worn for decades and handed on afterwards, so the first decision we make for the environment is a question of quality, not of marketing.
Everything else follows from that: materials we can trace, work done by hand in one place, and repairs rather than replacements.
Recycled gold and platinum
We work with recycled 18k gold and platinum from Swiss refineries, so no new ore has to be mined for your piece.
Hand-selected stones
Our stones are bought from long-standing partners and, for diamonds, follow the Kimberley Process. Lab grown diamonds are available for every design.
One atelier, short ways
Designed in Zurich, then forged, set and polished in-house. No subcontracting abroad, no anonymous mass production.
CARE AND SECOND LIFE
We Keep Your Piece Alive
Every Lesunja piece can come back to the bench where it was made. We clean and polish, resize rings, re-set loose stones and rebuild worn parts. Old gold from your own jewellery box can be melted down and used for a new design, which is the most direct form of recycling we know.
Packaging is kept simple and reusable: no plastic film, no oversized boxes, and shipping in insured parcels that travel once instead of twice.
