Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of lesunja.com AG. Version of 21 September 2026.

1. Scope and provider

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed in the online shop lesunja.com and to purchases made in our ateliers, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

The provider is lesunja.com AG, Europaallee, Lagerstrasse 42, 8004 Zurich, Switzerland, entered in the Commercial Register of the Canton of Zurich, company identification number CHE-282.013.837, VAT number CHE-282.013.837 MWST. Contact: art@lesunja.ch, phone +41 76 440 74 77. Lesunja Fine Jewellery is the brand of lesunja.com AG.

The version published at the time of the order applies. Deviating terms of the customer apply only if we agree to them in writing.

2. Formation of contract

The presentation of pieces in the online shop is not a binding offer but an invitation to order. By submitting your order you make a binding offer.

The contract comes into being when we accept the order with our order confirmation. The automatic acknowledgement of receipt is not yet an acceptance.

Many of our pieces exist only once. If a piece has already been sold we may decline the order. Any payment already made is refunded in full in that case.

3. Prices and value added tax

All prices are in Swiss francs and include Swiss value added tax, currently 8.1 per cent. Shipping costs are shown in the cart before the order is completed.

For deliveries abroad, import duties, customs and taxes may arise in the country of destination. These are borne by the customer unless agreed otherwise at the time of purchase.

In the case of an obvious error in price or description we are entitled not to accept an order.

4. Payment

Available methods are credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, TWINT and instalments via Klarna. Advance payment by bank transfer is possible by arrangement.

The purchase price falls due on formation of the contract. For instalments, the terms of the respective provider apply in addition. We reserve the right to exclude individual payment methods.

5. Shipping, delivery and collection

Within Switzerland we ship with Swiss Post as an insured parcel requiring a signature, and abroad with an insured courier service. Costs depend on the delivery zone and currently amount to CHF 20 within Switzerland and Liechtenstein, CHF 65 to Europe and CHF 90 to the rest of the world. From an order value of CHF 2000 we deliver free of charge.

Pieces in stock are usually dispatched within two working days. For commissioned work, the delivery method chosen in the cart applies, with a production time of around six weeks. Delivery times are guide values, not fixed dates.

Alternatively you may collect your piece free of charge at our atelier at Europaallee in Zurich or at our shop in St. Moritz. We will contact you as soon as it is ready.

Benefit and risk pass to the customer on handover to the carrier, or on handover of the piece in the case of collection.

6. Retention of title

Delivered pieces remain our property until payment has been made in full.

7. Inspection and notice of defects

Please inspect the shipment immediately on receipt. Report defects, transport damage or incorrect deliveries within two days of receipt to lesunja@lesunja.ch, stating the order number and adding photographs. Defects that were apparent on careful inspection and are reported later are deemed approved.

The piece must be unworn, complete and in its original packaging. Items returned without prior agreement cannot be accepted.

8. Return, exchange and credit

Every Lesunja piece is one of a kind or part of a small handmade series. There is therefore no right of return because of a change of mind. Swiss law provides no statutory right of withdrawal in distance selling.

In the case of a justified defect we will first offer repair or replacement. If neither is possible you will receive a credit to the value of the purchase price, redeemable at any time in our shop and in our ateliers. A refund in money is not given. Shipping costs, customs duties and taxes are not reimbursed.

9. Commissions, engraving and resizing

Pieces made to your specification, engraved or resized are excluded from exchange and credit, unless there is a fault in the material or the workmanship.

For commissioned work we require a deposit of 50 per cent of the agreed price. Sketches, drawings and models remain our intellectual property.

10. Handwork, gemstones and certificate

Our pieces are made by hand. Small deviations in form, finish and dimensions are an expression of handwork and not a defect.

Gemstones are products of nature. Inclusions, colour nuances and banding belong to the stone. Customary treatments such as heating or oiling are noted on the certificate where known to us. Laboratory-grown diamonds are marked as such.

Every piece comes with a certificate of authenticity stating material, stones and weight.

11. Care and service

Jewellery is sensitive to knocks, cosmetics, chlorine and salt water. We accept no liability for damage resulting from improper wear, unauthorised resizing or work carried out by third parties. We are happy to carry out repairs and cleaning; outside a defect claim these are quoted in advance.

12. Liability

We are liable for damage only in cases of intent and gross negligence. Liability for auxiliary persons as well as for indirect damage and lost profit is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory provisions of the Swiss Product Liability Act remain reserved.

We are not liable for events beyond our control, such as strikes, natural events, official orders or failures of transport and payment service providers.

13. Gift cards

Gift cards are transferable, valid for ten years from issue, cannot be paid out in cash and do not bear interest. Any remaining balance stays on the gift card.

14. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation. Details are set out in our privacy policy.

15. Intellectual property

Photographs, drawings, texts, jewellery designs and layouts are protected by copyright and owned by lesunja.com AG. Any use requires our prior written consent.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time. The version published at the time of the order applies to that order.

17. Governing law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, unless mandatory provisions provide for another place of jurisdiction.

18. Severability

Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force. The invalid provision is replaced by a rule that comes closest to its economic purpose.
