Lesunja Black Diamond Jewellery
Diamond, without the sparkle. A black diamond has the same hardness as a colourless one, but its dense inclusions absorb light instead of returning it. The effect is graphic rather than glittering: a deep matt-metallic black that reads as strong and modern.
Why it works so well
Black diamonds hold their own against heavy metal and broad surfaces, which makes them ideal for men's rings, signet forms and pavé work where a colourless stone would look busy. Set next to white diamonds they sharpen the contrast; in blackened gold they almost vanish into the metal.
